All multi-unit commercial and residential properties face the challenge of how to let visitors into the property. There are many good solutions by several manufactures that run from simple to complex access control systems. We service all systems and particularly recommend installing the following:

Emergency Notification Systems |
|
Help Point and Mass Notification Systems are installed on most commercial and educational campuses; municipal down towns, retail centers and parking facilities and mass transit systems to perform two functions: - Allow the public to get emergency assistance
- Notify the public in the event of an emergency

Networked Phone & Intercom Solutions |
|
Bay Cities Automatic Gates is one of the most sophisticated companies in Northern California at creating networked phone entry systems. These are particularly needed in commercial sites with VOIP systems and/or the need to track and update phone entry panels while they are being used. Please call us to discuss the best solution for your project. |

Intercoms are effective with new construction and limited control station locations. They also have nice integrated video cameras and monitors. The intercoms we recommend are Aiphone for stand alone and Viking when the intercom must integrate with a phone system. - Aiphone systems
Aiphone makes a wide range of intercom systems that are very reliable and handsome. Please call us so we can help you choose the optimal intercom models and installation requirements for your project. - Viking Electronics
Viking is an industrial intercom without frills or fancy finish. But it is reliable, durable, and cost effective and can call out to a phone system.

Phone entry systems use a dedicated phone line. Many can be programmed remotely. Some can even support card readers and other Weigand devices. DoorKing 1830 (1834, 1835, 1837) Series This series of phone entry systems are the industry standard. They are proven to work reliably for any size complex. The 1834 is the simplest. The 1835 and 1837 support Weigand devices and differ only in size of the display screen. DoorKing 1802 EPD [PDF download] Where the number of “units” is small this is an excellent, cost effective solution. It has a LCD screen. However, it requires on-site programming. Linear AE-1000, AE-2000 Series This is an excellent phone entry system with many useful options and arguably more security-industry-oriented software. These support Weigand devices. Keri Systems Entraguard Series This is also an excellent, proven phone entry system. These support Keri proprietary Weigand devices. |
