THE POSITION: Field Service Technicians are responsible for responding to customer service calls.  This requires servicing and/or troubleshooting equipment such as automatic gate operators, phone entry systems, in-ground vehicle detection loops, wired/wireless access control, CCTV systems and writing service reports.  Also responsible for maintaining a company vehicle and tools and sharing night and weekend on-call on an equal rotation basis.

THE QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must have three years demonstrated experience as an independent field service technician.  Understanding of electrical theory, high voltage, multi-phase motors and low voltage controls.  Experience in mechanical equipment maintenance; welding; demonstrated expertise in system troubleshooting; and some familiarity with access control, alarms, CCTV systems.  Requires excellent verbal and written communication and customer relationship skills.  You must hold a clean CADL and pass a background check.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: Automatic gates, phone entry, access control/security systems ideal. Facilities maintenance, body shop technician with in-field experience, large appliance field technician, experienced handyman/General Contractor, HVAC field technician, garage door technician and/or automatic door technician experience may also be considered.
